 2020 California 4-H Youth Summits

The California 4-H Youth Summits are three-day leadership conferences proudly hosted by the California 4-H Management Board! Youth are invited to attend any of the Youth Summits; it is not required for them to attend the event hosted in their own area, and they can attend multiple Summits if they choose.

Participants, facilitators, and chaperones pay the listed registration amount. Planning team members (both youth and adult members) attend for free.
Chaperones must apply and be accepted before registering. Chaperones will receive their own link to register after they are accepted. Please complete the standard state-level event chaperone application, which includes reading the Volunteer Role Description and emailing a signed Chaperone Agreement to with the subject "Youth Summit Chaperone Agreement."

What is a participant?
A participant is a youth, age 11-13, and is an actively engaged member in the Summit. Participants get the chance to meet other youth from across the state, attend educational workshops, partake in fun leadership development activities, and so much more! 

What is a facilitator?
Facilitators are age 14-19. They are responsible during the Summit for leading their group of younger members and being role models while participating in the Summit themselves. Note: At the Southern Youth Summit this year, the facilitator role will be handled by planning team members. All other Youth Summits have registration open for facilitators.

Cancellations made 50 or fewer days before the event receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made 30 or fewer days before the event receive no refund.

As long as this form is open, we are still accepting registrations for the Bay/Coast, Central, and Southern Youth Summits.
