The Christmas tree is decorated as well as the inside of the house. Lights and wreath are up on the outside. Gift shopping just about done. Some gifts are wrapped, more to go. Cookies to be made and delivered to friends and neighbors (thanks to my daughter Toni).
Now it's time to make a list for groceries for dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Our family is a mix of different cultures, but we lean to my Italian side when it comes to these meals so yes we are going Italian at least for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day could be leftovers, I will see.
It seems that the month of December means rush, rush to get it all done before the big day. Or is it just me that feels that way? I guess maybe it is, some people I have talked to have meals planed, gifts brought and wrapped. Sure wish I was “some people”. Oh well, guess if it's not done it wasn't meant to be.
I have decided that when it get to much for a busy day to take a break, put my favorite music on, feet up, and have a snack, or maybe my favorite drink. Try it if you feel the holiday rush, it does wonders for you.
The year 2014 is almost gone, I hope that 2015 is good to everyone. Joyous Holidays to all.
