There are scholarships available to anyone in ANR that would like to attend. They cover registration and any associated travel costs. If you would like to take advantage of the scholarships, I need to know in advance so that I can provide you with a budget number. You will need to register and pay for your selected training, then use the budget number I give you when you submit your travel claim.
Remember, even if you've already participated in a Train-the-Trainer workshop, you are required by EPA to retake the program unless you maintain certain licenses, including PAC, QAC, QAL, or PCA. UCCE Advisors are also exempted from the need to retrain. If you are currently qualified as a trainer, you can attend a Train-the-Trainer workshop this Fall to learn about the new WPS requirements and additional training topics. While a certification may qualify you, a Train-the-Trainer Workshop will prepare you to train! Register at www.ipm.ucanr.edu/events today.
