Fresno County 4-H Fair
The annual Fresno County 4-H Fair will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Reedley College.
The 4-H Fair is an educational, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for Fresno County 4-H members. In order for the 4-H Fair to be a success, volunteer assistance, (adult and youth) is important and necessary. Please consider volunteering to help.

PLEASE NOTE: Still exhibits are paid separate from Livestock Department
Please call the 4-H office at (559) 241-7525 if you would like to volunteer as a judge, clerk, or any of the following positions:
Junior Department Heads: A Jr. or Teen Leader with interest and expertise in a given area supervising and representing the department.
Resource Leaders in different project areas will be assisting and representing a department.
For Department Heads: If you are hiring a paid judge, the judge must be paid through a UC account using the established UC procedures. Sponsoring Committee will establish an account, but you will need to complete the following form with information about your judge: Request for Payment of an Honorarium
Still Exhibits: Pre-entry is not required. There will be a $1 per exhibit entry fee. Fees for this department are paid separate from livestock. All items will be due on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. 4-Hers will be able to pick up entries at the close of the Fair or on Monday the 14th at the 4-H office.

Livestock / Fur & Feathers: Entries are due to the 4-H Office by MONDAY, April 30, 2018 by 4:00 p.m. or postmarked no later than Saturday, April 28th, 2018-- NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
4-H Livestock Achievement Testing
Livestock Members - Now that you've taken the Livestock Achievement Written Test, come show off your livestock handling skills and knowledge!
Registration: 8:30 a.m.- 9:15 a.m., $2/member
Skills testing begins at 9:30 a.m.
Awards will follow the completion of the testing.

Dog Care Field Day

Reedley College - Registration at 8:30 AM - Show begins at 9:00 AM
Showmanship and Obedience Classes - Costs $2.00 per class (test fee included)
Entries Due to 4-H Office by Monday, April 30th @ 5:00 PM
Pygmy Goat Achievement Test: The Pygmy Goat Achievement Test must be given before April 30th. Project leaders must pick up tests at the 4-H Office. The test has 3 levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. A study guide listing what you need to know for each level can be found here: Pygmy Goat Study Guide.
