Fresno County 4-H Scholarships
Formed in 1979 to provide recognition and encouragement to outstanding 4-H members.
Deadline for applications (NO EXCEPTIONS): Monday, April 13th, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.
Interviews will be on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 at the 4-H Office.
Scheduled interviews will follow a meal starting at approximately 5:30 p.m. (Applicants will receive a email prior to the interviews with a detailed schedule).
Selection will be based on the efforts of the applicant to help others through 4-H Leadership and Community Service. Items which may be considered include, but are not limited to: serving as a Jr./Teen Leader, Jr. 4-H Camp Counselor, or All Star; committee leadership (club, county or sectional activities) and participation in club or county community service activities.

Fresno FiberArt Guild Grants for Youth 2020-2021
• The Fresno FiberArts Guild is pleased to offer three Fiber Grants for individuals or groups interested in fiber-related arts. The grants, totaling $300, will be available as three separate awards up to $100. Each award will be used during the next Guild year as the project must be completed by April 17, 2021.These Grants are intended to encourage interest in the fiber arts through attendance in an organized class or workshop (such as from a local shop, at Bluprint.com, in a Guild workshop, etc.), or by demonstrating a fiber-related activity or lesson to a group. Funds should be used for securing necessary supplies and completing the proposed fiber activity.
Application Deadline: April 20th, 2020
The Guild expects the recipient to attend the Guild Fashion Show on May 30, 2020 for an introduction.

Fresno Grizzlies Farm Grown Scholarships
Fresno County 4-H is pleased to have generous scholarship support from the local Fresno Grizzlies Baseball organization. Farm Grown promotes the agricultural heritage and philanthropic vitality of the Central San Joaquin Valley through the building of meaningful partnerships in support of education, agriculture, healthy living, and baseball. Through this initiative, the Fresno Grizzlies are pleased to provide up to $5,000 in scholarships annually to outstanding local 4-H members pursuing a degree in an agricultural-related field.
Application Deadline: March 1st, 2020 ~ Winners Notified March 16th ~ Presented Awards at Ag Night Grizzlie game April 17th.
