This free, educational event will be a fun outing for the whole family. Everyone from beginner gardeners to long-time gardening fanatics will find something of interest. 

Second Saturday Open Loomis Garden Day

Our garden is a living classroom for the Placer County community that emphasizes sustainable gardening, integrated pest management and backyard food production. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.

Tomato Mastery: The Art & Science of Growing Delicious Tomatoes

So you want to start gardening?  Learn the basics of gardening including tools of the trade, best location, soil needs, sun vs. shade, irrigation needs, etc. to get started on your first garden.
