Invasive weeds are a common problem in foothill landscapes and gardens. This class will focus on two particularly problematic weeds, yellow starthistle, and oblong spurge, while discussing prevention, eradication and management methods that can be applied to other invasive weeds as well. Learn how to identify these common plants, understand their impacts on the environment, prevent or reduce their spread, and best methods for control. The latest research on dealing with these invasive plants will also be addressed.
