April 10, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon
Free Spring Break Garden Workshop for Kids ages 7-10
This fun, hands-on workshop will introduce children to environmental awareness by teaching them the basics of recycling and plant life. In each 2 hour program kids will tour the Casa gardens, learning how to identify and grow water-wise herbs, succulents and California Native plants and then plant their own herb or succulent into a 4-inch eco-friendly flowerpot to take home. Families are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch to eat outside on the ocean bluff or in the amphitheater after class.

It's pretty amazing - Orange County Master Gardener volunteers conducted a class with donated supplies, resulting in a fun and healthy experience that will end up feeding hundreds of people.
No one can come close to conducting classes like this for so little cost.
Several people came up to me after the class and shared their gratitude.
