My name is Giuliano Galdi, and I am the new UC Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Agronomy and Weed Management Advisor located in Merced County, and also with responsibilities in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. In San Joaquin county, my primary responsibility will be in weed management. I received my B.S. in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Sao Paulo and my M.S. degree in Plant Sciences at California State University, Fresno.

My name is Clebson Gonçalves and I am the UC Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Diversified Agricultural Systems Area Advisor for Lake and Mendocino counties. My educational background consists of studies focused on plant production, crop protection, and weed science. My past research focused on conventional and organic pest management in diversified agricultural systems.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy (focused on plant pathology), a Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Agronomy (plant production/weed science) from Brazil in addition to a Master's degree in Crop & Soil Science (turfgrass/weed science) from Auburn University.
