The 2018 CE Position Call process to develop and submit proposals ends tomorrow. The proposals are posted on the call web page: http://ucanr.edu/2018callforpositions. Internal stakeholders across the ANR network and external stakeholders were engaged, throughout the seven-month process, in the development of these proposals.

It is with deep sorrow that I pass along the heartbreaking news that Chuck Ingels, longtime UCCE advisor in Sacramento County, has lost his battle with cancer. After his remarkable improvement last year, we had hoped he would remain in remission. Chuck was a wonderful colleague and friend who will be missed by all of us who knew him.
