Five candidates are being considered to fill ANR's new vice provost position, which will oversee UC Cooperative Extension in the counties. ANR members are invited to watch the five candidates present their answers to the question, “What is your vision for the next 20 years for UC Cooperative Extension?” The candidates will also describe how they would provide leadership and advocacy for a unified ANR program with a strong statewide, campus and local presence.
You may attend the seminars in person at the ANR Building in Davis or online via AdobeConnect at http://uc-d.adobeconnect.com/r7515ht0sch.
The ANR vice provost candidates will deliver their presentations in the San Joaquin Valley Room in the ANR Building on April 30 and May 1. Each candidate will have 45 minutes to speak, including time for questions. Depending upon the time available, speakers may take clarifying questions from the audience or via the AdobeConnect chat feature. Questions will be restricted to the presentation topic and specific remarks by the candidate.
The vice provost will be a programmatic leader for Division research and outreach activity as well as serve as the administrative leader for county-based Cooperative Extension programs. The successful candidate will integrate planning and delivery of programs at the statewide level and represent ANR regionally and nationally as delegated.
