The first Thursday of every month on In the Garden, UCCE Master Gardeners and KUCI staff hosts Teena Spindler and Katrina Kirkeby will bring you special gardening information for the month – the first month of Fall. 
In October, Southern California traditionally starts to transition into winter. Summer crops should be dug up. Continue planting your winter vegetable garden.
You'll hear about most everything that will help you maintain your garden this month. Oooh . . . Pumpkins!
