With the extremely hot Summer (2 months of 110F+)we have had here on Phoenix,AZ my Hardenburgia is dying. I am so sad as it was so beautiful last Winter. Probably didn't help that my husband pruned it in June.

Hello,
I have an established plant that has a 3 foot deep thatch on my. I need to do a hard prune, since it is getting very dusty and has become home to mealy bugs. When is the correct time of year to do this? I love this plant, but it's growing on the carport and threatening the structure. Can it be hard pruned to the main stalks and what time of year is best to do this? Z
