More can be accomplished when agencies/programs work together for a common goal, maximizing resources and avoiding the duplication of efforts. One key element that cannot and should not be left out of the food safety and water quality equation is the farmworkers. Training needs to be provided regularly to the workers and their families, taking into consideration language barriers and cultural norms.
