The unintended consequence's of government policy is rarely ever well thought out before policy is implemented. one size fits all policy doesn't always. Green agendas aren't always green, but political. It's difficult for politician's to not be political. Truth rather than emotion and politics would be a much better way to implement policy. Political truth changes with flavor of the month cause for political control/power. It's why so many people are skeptical of many of the "Green truther's".

Can you explain/substantiate this statement (IN CAPS) in your article: "By 2023, renewable diesel — WHICH, UNLIKE BIODIESEL, IS A PERFECT SUBSTITUTE FOR CONVENTIONAL DIESEL - was the most consumed renewable fuel in California and also generated the most credits under the LCFS.

Hi Torri,

Thanks for the question. I think this quote from the article should answer your question: “RD is a perfect substitute for “conventional diesel,” which means that it does not need to be blended with conventional diesel, unlike biodiesel (BD) which is chemically different from RD.”
