Learn how to garden to increase the desirability of your environment. Join us for a talk on attracting pollinators to your yard, be it large or small.

UC Master Gardener Presenter Cindy Burgdorf: Cindy has been a Master Gardener for 16 years. She has been gardening for over 70 years (she started with cherry tomatoes in her Grandmother’s garden). On her 1 1⁄2 acre property she has year-round vegetable gardens, gardens devoted to bees and butterflies, six bee hives, ten chickens, a worm bin and six compost bins. Her yard is a Monarch Waystation (Monarch Watch), a certified Butterfly Garden (NABA), certified WildLife Habitat (NWF) and certified Bee Friendly Garden (Pollinator Partnership).
