Prudent Winter Tree Pruning

This class will review tree pruning techniques that apply to all perennials, with an emphasis on how to prune different deciduous fruit trees. Prudent winter pruning is the best way to invigorate fruit trees in the home garden. The presenters will bring samples into class to demonstrate how to prune safely and accurately.

During this introductory class, you will learn how to:

  • Maximize tree health and fruit production.

Identify dead, damaged and dying wood.
