Tom Larsen

Dr. Tom Larsen has over 35 years of experience in agricultural crop protection and integrated pest management (IPM). He started at Suterra in 1993 and has played a seminal role in the development of the company's pheromone blends, product design, field trials, and regulatory work across six continents. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to bear for Suterra's customers around the world for a variety of pests and crops.

He received his PhD in 1985 from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, in the field of Crop Science with a minor in Entomology. He worked for Monsanto for 12 years in field product development and later as Technical Manager of glyphosate products. He then spent 4 years as the Product Development Director at Mycogen Corporation, an early-stage research company focused on biological insecticides. He currently serves as Director of Product Development for Suterra.
