It is essential that a Forestry/Natural Resources Advisor continue to be available in this region. Forest stewardship, watersheds and water quality management, wildland fire, fire and fuels risk management, and the livelihood of rural communities are all important issues for local people and hugely impact the environment of the region. As evidenced in the letters of support, the incumbent Advisor has forged partnerships that serve the public interest and are worthy of continued UCCE investment.
