What's the Weather Like?

Pacific Grove Weather

Fall (September through November)

Fall daily highs range from 72°F (22.2°C) and 63.9°F (17.7°C), which will feel comfortable given the humidity and wind. It rains or snows a normal amount: 0 to 4 days per month. The average median temperature in the month of November is 55 degrees.

Casual attire is always appropriate. We always recommend dressing in layers, which can be easily added or removed as you travel through the myriad microclimates found on the Monterey Peninsula. A jacket or sweater is never without use, and if you are planning to spend time at the beach or on the golf course, a few dabs of sunscreen are also recommended.

What to Pack/Wear

California casual wear for the retreat.

Comfortable walking shoes and/or sandals.

Light jacket or sweater for cool evenings. Asilomar is right on the water, so evenings can cool down.

Hats and sunscreen

Umbrella which can be used for shade or for the chance that showers occur.
