California has one of the nation’s highest poverty rates. This session explores underlying causes and trends, with a focus on geographic and demographic variables that influence how poverty impacts vulnerable populations, including youth and families. You’ll also hear about UC ANR activities that reach California’s low-income populations, and engage in a discussion on emerging roles for ANR.
