Pete Goodell
Dr. Pete Goodell received his PhD in Entomology and Nematology from the University of California (UC), Riverside, in 1986. He is a Cooperative Extension Advisor, IPM, located at the UC Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center, Parlier, CA, and attached to the UC Statewide IPM Program. His primary mission is to develop and deliver IPM tactics and strategies to the agricultural community in the San Joaquin Valley. He deals with insects and nematodes on field crops including cotton, alfalfa seed, dry beans, and forage. He supports the program of County Farm Advisors by providing expertise and educational support for local farmers and pest control advisors.
