Extending Orchard IPM Knowledge in California
Richard Molinar
Richard Molinar received his M.S. degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in IPM from California State University, Bakersfield, in 1990. He has been a University of California Cooperative Extension Farm Advisor since 1986. He currently works out of the Fresno County Extension Office. He works with crops produced on small farms and focuses on vegetable crops, organic farming, insect/weed management, specialty crops, sugar peas, strawberries, eggplant, squash, Asian vegetables such as basil, lemongrass, green beans, long beans, gailon, and bittermelons. He is fluent in Spanish and works with many ethnic groups including Hmong and Lao farmers.
