Scott Johnson

Dr. Scott Johnson received his PhD in Pomology from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 1982. He is a University of California (UC) Cooperative Extension Pomologist located at the UC Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center, Parlier, CA, and he is affiliated with the UC Davis Department of Plant Sciences. He focuses on apples, kiwifruit, fresh shipping peaches, nectarines, and plums. His responsibilities include the coordination of research and extension activities for these commodities by acting as a liaison between Farm Advisors and the Plant Sciences Department and between the fresh fruit industry and the University of California.
