UCCE Master Gardeners are trained representatives of the University of California Cooperative Extension, assisting the gardening community of Sutter and Yuba Counties by providing research-based home gardening information.

Please join the Yuba-Sutter Master Gardeners along with the Friends of the Marysville City Cemetery for a Free Rose Pruning Workshop on January 20th at 10 am. There will be a discussion, pruning instructions and handouts available as well as an opportunity to prune some old rose bushes. The 20th is also the regular cleanup day at the cemetery which will start at 9 am. The cemetery is located on Highway 70, look for the "Point of Interest" sign on the seat side of the road going north.There will be a sharp right-hand turn after the overpass by Marysville High School. We will meet at the rose garden by the Angel marker just left of the shed. Bring your clippers and gloves.
