ANR Adventures

After a long year there's hope that accountability happens. The week started with a meeting to discuss the new DEI Advisory Council Charter. I am excited about the possibilities that the Council brings to conversations and action.

The team in the Central Sierra are quite creative! Take a look at the elevator pitch they put together to describe UC ANR! Of course, UC ANR is so much more, but for a 2-minute video, this team captured the essence of ANR while putting their new skills to use.

This week has been a whirlwind. I almost missed posting. Between Program Council, annual review conversations and paperwork, and moving forward on Immunization Education and Small Farms opportunities, plus random other meetings, I am struggling to keep my to-do' list updated.

Congratulations to our ANREP winners! A group of CE Specialists, CE Advisors were recognized with a Bronze Award for their Ranch Water Quality Planning Instructor's Guide and Lesson Plan. Take a look at the list of recipients: Anthony O'Geen, Bill Birmingham, Brooke Latack, D.J.

It is federal reporting time. Katherine and her team are hard at work assembling the reports based on stories a group of academics gleaned from Project Board. I had a chance to take a quick peak.
