Enter photo contest: UC ANR around the state

UC ANR is launching a photography contest and calling all staff and academics to submit their best shots. The contest will give us a chance to see scenes from different parts of our beautiful state, said vice provost Mark Bell.

John C. Bruhn, UC Cooperative Extension specialist emeritus, passed away Dec. 18, 2021. He was 81. Bruhn began his 37-year career (1969-2006) as a UCCE dairy food specialist in the Department of Food Science and Technology at UC Davis.

In memoriam: Jim Clawson

W. James (Jim) Clawson,emeritus UC Cooperative Extension range specialist passed away in Dallas, Oregon, on Jan. 7, 2022, from pancreatic cancer at the age of 89. Born in Oakland, Clawson was the son of William, a presbyterian minister, and Ruth Clawson.
