Invitation to a PCA Roundtable: Citrus Mealybug Management in the San Joaquin Valley

We invite you to join fellow PCAs, growers, researchers, and industry partners for an interactive discussion on one of the San Joaquin Valley's emerging citrus pests. This roundtable is an opportunity to share field experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another about the current status of citrus mealybug and the challenges it presents.

When: August 11, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM.

Where: Lindcove Research and Extension Center, Exeter, California

Together, we'll discuss what's working, what's not, and how management practices are evolving as this pest continues to spread. We'll also identify gaps in our knowledge, explore priorities for future research and extension, and discuss how we can collectively develop practical, science-based solutions for the citrus industry.

Your experience and perspective are essential to the conversation. By bringing together those working directly in the field, we hope to better understand current issues and chart a path forward for effective, sustainable citrus mealybug management.

Please use this registration link to reserve your spot. As part of the registration process, we encourage you to complete the brief pre-event survey. Your responses will help me formulate guideposts, prioritize discussion topics, and provide valuable guidance for developing future citrus mealybug management recommendations and research priorities.
