Ranch Water Quality Planning Workshop

The San Francisco Bay Water Board is hosting a Ranch Water Quality Planning Workshop for enrollees in the Grazing Regulatory Program on Wednesday June 3rd from 1 – 3:30 PM at the Petaluma NRCS Field Office, 5401 Old Redwood Highway, Suite 100.

Attendees will learn how to prepare a Ranch Water Quality Plan that meets the Water Board’s requirements for compliance with its water quality permit for grazing operations. If you have a map or aerial photograph of your ranch, it will be useful for you to bring it to the workshop. If you don’t have a map, not to worry, the workshop will include how to secure one.

The workshop is free, but they ask that you please register for headcount planning reasons. Walk-ins are also welcome. To register, please send an email to Rene.Leclerc@waterboards.ca.gov with the names of those who will attend. For more information on the Grazing Program, see the fact sheet available here and the program website here.
