Please join UC Cooperative Extension for a workshop on virtual fencing!

In this workshop you will learn from HREC staff and a Mendocino County rancher about what virtual fencing is, how it works, costs associated with getting it set up, and pros/cons of using virtual fence compared to barbed wire fence.  There will be an optional field tour where we will look at a tower and discuss considerations for how to set up your fence boundaries. If you'd like to join the Field tour, please bring your own bagged lunch.

This is a free event, but registration is required. Click here or see attachment below for the flyer, or here to register.

Date: March 2, 2026

Time: 9-noon

There will also be an option afternoon field tour from 12:15 until about 2:00. Bring your own bag lunch if you want to stay for the field tour.
