Get into the Water with this Workshop

The 2026 International Microirrigation School for Crop Production will be offered for the very first time from March 30th to April 3rd, 2026. This one‑time, intensive course includes three days of classroom instruction at the University of California, Davis and two days of field visits throughout the San Joaquin Valley and the Central Coast.

Throughout the week, you will learn directly from the world’s foremost microirrigation experts. Lectures will draw on the latest research, technologies, and practical applications–and all participants will receive the newly published Elsevier textbook, Microirrigation for Crop Production, Second Edition.

This special educational event is co‑organized by the UC Davis College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (UC Davis CA&ES), UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR), the Chilean Water Technology Consortium (CoTH2O), and the California Irrigation Institute (CII). It’s designed for a broad audience, including–but not limited to–water resource planners and managers, irrigation designers and practitioners, crop consultants, farmers and ranch managers, university extension specialists and educators, scientists and researchers, students and scholars, as well as personnel from government agencies, consulting firms, resource conservation entities, irrigation districts, groundwater management agencies, commodity groups, professional societies, and non‑profit organizations.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the University of California, as well as Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Credit Hours recognized by the American Society of Agronomy (ASA) and the Irrigation Association (IA).
