This was my first time growing Broccoli. It’s very easy and productive, and we regularly enjoyed it in our meals. Often, I had to hose off a few aphids here and there, and that worked for a while. But along came two 80-degree days. It bolted from those two warm days, and then the aphids really attacked it.

Way too many disgusting aphids coating this even to try to clean and eat. I let it go and planned on the next vegetable to put in instead. Summer squash it is. I started the seeds, and when they were ready to plant in the box, another roadblock. Happy bees collecting pollen! The Summer squash is in a big pot!
