for this blog
Its raining hard and
my brain's a fog.
We need the rain
So this is good!
I needn't feel guilty
But maybe I should.
The weeds are growing
tall and strong
While I watch Netflix
All day long.
That hole in the ground
Where the peach tree died
Summer got hot and
its poor roots fried.
A beautiful rose
Should be bought
But my gardening skills
Are a great big naught.
I should have ordered
The rose online
But was too lazy
The blame is mine.
Someone said Lowes
Has roses galore
Tomorrow I'll go
and check that store.
Still watching today
My Netflix flick
Munching dark chocs
till I feel sick.
Its not my fault
The rainy season
Its a good excuse
and a valid reason
But tomorrow please
Come out dear sun
I'll get off my rear
For some garden fun!
