Sharon Junge returns to retirement in March
Sharon Junge, interim statewide 4-H Youth Development Program director and Healthy Families and Communities (HFC) Strategic Initiative leader, will end her recall from ANR retirement in March. In addition to a distinguished ANR career, Junge has provided critical leadership to ANR and spearheading organizational shifts and transitions including the newly created Youth, Families and Communities (YFC) statewide program, serving on Program Council and leading the development and organization of the HFC strategic plan and conference. The Sustainable Natural Ecosystems Strategic Initiative Draft Plan is now available for review at http://ucanr.org/sites/NRCC_2010/.
People who plan on attending the ANR Natural Resources Coordinating Conference (NRCC) on June 28 – 30 should read the draft plan and come prepared to give input about it. The UC ANR Natural Resources Coordinating Conference is set for June 28-30. ANR academics and members of selected workgroups should plan to attend and discuss how the Sustainable Natural Ecosystem Initiative can best implement its part of the ANR Strategic Vision.
