The UCCE Centennial Committee members invite you to join them for a short webinar on Monday, March 24, at 2 p.m. to learn more about the May 8 Day of Science and Service.
On May 8, 1914, President Wilson signed the Smith-Lever Act and established the national Cooperative Extension Service, which strongly tied service, science and citizen participation together in scientific enterprises.
Now, 100 years later, we're celebrating this milestone by asking all Californians to join in a one-day science project and to be a scientist for a day. We've developed three questions – about water, food and pollinators – and we're turning to you to help us engage the public to collect answers to these...
