In recent weeks, there have been availability issues for Zoom authentication through the ANR portal resulting from ANR Portal downtimes. To provide stability and uninterrupted access to Zoom, we are removing the dependency on the Portal to log into the Zoom account.
On Friday, Sept. 17, at 5:00 p.m., UC ANR IT will switch to use UCANR Single Sign On (SSO) to access Zoom. As a result, users will no longer be directed to the Portal to sign in but immediately to UC ANR's Single Sign-On page.
Users can log into Zoom via https://ucanr.zoom.us. Additionally, those using the Zoom app can use the SSO option to log in.
We have updated our
COVID-19 vaccination information
As we begin 2021, I hope that you all had a safe and restful break over the holidays. New flu vaccination FAQs
To support the health and well-being of UC students, faculty and staff and our communities, the University of California, in consultation with UC Health leadership, issued a systemwide executive order requiring all members of the UC community to receive an influenza immunization before Nov. 1, 2020.
In addition to protecting ourselves, this requirement is designed to avoid a surge of flu cases at health care facilities across the state during the unprecedented public health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

As IT has announced in previous messages, important video recordings on Adobe Connect should have been moved by June 15 to avoid losing access to the recordings.
If you still have important video files on Adobe Connect that you haven't already saved to Box or YouTube, please contact IT immediately – IT Help Desk at help@ucanr.edu or (530) 750-1212.
As you know, ANR has adopted Zoom as the new conferencing system platform, which also has MP4 recording function, and therefore we are canceling ANR's Adobe Connect subscription.
