Hi, Thank you for publishing this information. Without being a scientist, I am currently working on a way to effective control wather Hyacinths in a lagoon in San Vicente, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since my father is working as education minister for the city, I am trying to help him to fina a way to get some schools involved in the process of cleaning up the lagoon and I found your project fascinating. Do you have more information on the method for introducing these control agentes in an ecosystem and how to do you find them and make them reproduce to have enough to really make a difference? I know this may be a very complicated questions, but maybe you can refer me to some online resources that we can use? Thank you very much for reading this letter and regardless of the help you can or cant give us, I congradulte you and your wonderful work.

Good question, Dario. I will talk to the USDA biocontrol people and see what they can suggest. However, these biocontrol organisms may already be native to your area!
