Thanks for writing this interesting article Richard. I'm curious if there is much variability in pH in fields with variable levels of club root. In other words if there are hotspots where club root occurs in a field (like in photo 2) and other areas where it doesn't occur, can this pattern be explained by differences in pH within that field or are there other variability differences involved? Also, are brassica cover crops affected by club root? If so, I wonder if one could use aerial photographs of a brassica cover crop to 'map' these patterns, kind of like how I used a cover crop to 'map' deep differences in soil texture in this video.
