I never considered birds a nuisance in our garden until a mockingbird started making feasts of my tomatoes. They are good at selecting the darkest, ripest fruit, too! We don't want to harm them, but aren't particularly interested in sharing. I love the red ornament idea, but I fear my tomatoes are too delicious and the culprit will not be deterred. Thanks for sharing!

I did not need sarcasm as a reply to my question. I’ve never seen this before. I’m sorry if I sound stupid for asking if birds eat tomatoes. Sorry I asked.
