Hi Kathy, I have seen on other sites the same info you posted regarding the stone pine's canopy developing in middle age. I'd like to plant one in my yard to enjoy the canopy, and am trying to find out how many years it is on average that it will take to get to that point. One nursery I spoke with said that it takes over 100 years—which I'm finding difficult to believe. Anyway, thanks in advance!!
