If you only find the a-sexual stage in berry fields, does that imply that there is very low potential for resistance development to fungicides?

Assuming the perfect stage is indeed absent (in strawberry, caneberry, and other fields), then the worldwide literature indicates that the potential for development of fungicide resistance is very high for the Botrytis asexual stage. There are many reports of fungicide resistance in Botrytis for the following crops: strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, grape, apple, kiwi, tomato, cucumber. STK
