Food Tasting at Dave's Deli

On June 3, project staff members conducted a healthy fruit smoothie tasting at Dave's Deli, a local East LA eatery. The deli provided fruit smoothies and the project staff offered healthy cookbooks for passersby.

Food Tasting at Edith's Market

On June 16, project staff conducted a recipe demonstration at Edith's Market, another local East LA market. Planned as an end-of-the-school-day event, it attracted students and their parents from a nearby elementary school.
