Oh Woes, in a Wet Year - Anthracnose

So rain is greatas long as it doesn't cause problems like increased iron chlorosis, root rot, snails, erosion, too many weeds, etc., etc., etc, And now we are seeing more anthracnose. This disease is not normally much of a problem in dry California.

Thoughts on the Haven at Fifteen

The Haven was created in 2009: we celebrate our 15th anniversary this year. I joined the garden in 2012 and was tasked with creating an outreach and education program. Tours, social media pages, classes, and this blog soon followed.
