Wildland Weed Alert: Cape Ricegrass (Stipa capensis)

Keep an eye out for this potential problem weed in southern California: Stipa capensis. First reported in 1995 in Riverside, this species is native to the Mediterranean and has established in the Coachella Valley of the Sonoran Desert.

Se nos entreg una foto por un productor en el vienes de la semana pasada de unas fresas de su campo que demostraron sntomas obvios de antracnosis. Quiere decir lesiones oscuras en forma de una lente por la superficie de la fruta.
