Gardeners are always looking for ways to add more plants, especially in a small garden. One way to do this (and in hot California add some much-needed shaded seating) is with a pergola.

Ready to get your spring garden in the ground? Not so fast! In Stanislaus County, our weather patterns have featured rainstorms, low temperature drops, and highs in the 70's, only to repeat the rainstorms and low temperatures. These periods of sunshine remind us that spring is on the way.

Are you in lemon overload right now? We are so fortunate to live on the Central Coast of California where citrus trees are abundant and well suited to our climate. Lemons are often seen carpeting neighborhood yards while the trees hang heavy with fruit.

Most of you know that birds are a real terror in blueberry, so much that netting is mandatory for blueberry growers across the country.
