2026 Low Desert Alfalfa and Forage Crops Symposium

The 2026 Low Desert Alfalfa and Forage Crops Symposium is a half-day educational program that will be held at the Imperial Valley Conservation Research Center (IVCRC), 4151 CA-86, Brawley, CA 92227.  The symposium is designed to address a broad range of current and emerging issues affecting alfalfa and forage crop production in the low desert region. Presentations by researchers, industry representatives, and extension specialists will cover key topics including water management, crop diseases, insect pests, weeds, irrigation, fertilization, and forage quality for livestock production. In addition, representatives from major crop protection companies will provide updates on current and newly available pesticide products and technologies. The program is intended to provide participants with practical, research-based information that can be applied to improve forage crop production, pest management, resource conservation, and livestock forage quality.
