The UC ANR Digital Enterprise Project is working to move away from fragmented "legacy" technologies to a single, integrated enterprise-grade platform that incorporates the following functions/tools:
- Volunteer & Enrollment Management
- Events Registration
- External-Facing Learning Platform (ANR Online)
The Vision
Our goal is one platform, one identity. We want to eliminate the friction of multiple logins and disconnected systems. For our volunteers and participants, this means a seamless experience where they can use a single platform to engage with multiple statewide programs, easily register for events, and complete mandatory training. By unifying these tools, we'll improve efficiency for our staff and create a much more welcoming, friendly experience for our partners in the community.
How We Prepared
To ensure this platform meets our actual needs, UC ANR created a Task Force of 39 dedicated subject matter experts across our programs and units in 2025. Supported by KAI Partners, Inc., this group defined 391 specific requirements to ensure the new system supports our mission and our people.
This effort led us to Phase 2: the search for the right implementation partner. After a rigorous RFP process and in-person demonstrations, the feedback from evaluators across ANR was clear. Based on your peers' input, we've selected Deloitte to build our new platform on Microsoft Dynamics.
The Road Ahead
We are now entering Phase 3: the most exciting part of this multi-year journey: implementation. As shown in the timeline below, there is a lot of work happening behind the scenes to make this a reality.
