UCCE Lassen County Office
The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Office in Lassen County is located in uptown Susanville. Laura Snell is Interim and David Lile is Emeritus UCCE Lassen County Directors and Farm Advisors. Their specialties are Natural Resources and Livestock, and Rangeland Management. They consult individually with farmers and ranchers needing advice and carry out research on local problems.
The Lassen County 4-H Youth Development Program offers many fun and educational activities for its members. Our 4-H Youth Program Community Education Specialist oversees this popular program which stresses citizenship, leadership, and life skills to approximately 250 members and volunteers in our county.
