Sonoma 4-H Yearly Calendar 2025-2026

 

Achievement Night (October)
Achievement Night is an evening to celebrating our 4-H members with awards, recognition, and acknowledgments for their hard work, dedication and accomplishments.

Presentation Day (February) 
4-H Presentation Day is an opportunity for youth members to showcase their presentations and gain confidence, presenting, and gain valuable insights and support from evaluators.

4-H/FFA Livestock Judging Contest (February)
Livestock Judging provides 4-H youth with the opportunity to evaluate and rank livestock—such as beef cattle, sheep, and swine—while learning key skills in animal selection and observation. Gaining valuable knowledge, speaking, and decision-making skills along the way.

North Bay Science Discovery Day (March)

This event offers more than 10,000+ youth and families engage in 150 hands-on activities to spark wonder for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. 

FashionRevue (April) 
FashionRevue allows 4-H youth to shine as they display the talent, creativity, and skills they use to design and construct clothing, jewelry, leather items, and textile projects.

4-H ChickenQue (May)
ChickenQue is an open house event designed to introduce the 4-H program to the community while serving as an annual fundraiser to support Sonoma County 4-H.

Poultry Showdown (May)
This annual event welcomes youth from Sonoma, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, and Napa counties to compete in a variety of poultry-related categories, including bird judging, egg evaluation, photography, and creatively decorated eggs.

Scholarships
Each year, the Sonoma County Leadership Team provides ten scholarships valued at $1,000 each. Youth can also explore a variety of other local and state scholarship opportunities.

4-H Summer Camp (June-July)
Sonoma 4-H Camp Week 1–Camp Tamarancho (Fairfax) June 28-July 3, 2026.  

4-H Camp offers a perfect blend of summer fun and hands-on learning where youth explore the outdoors, gain new skills, and make long lasting friends.

  • California Focus - Participate in legislative, political and judicial processes at state capital (ages 14-19). June
  • State Leadership Conference - Advanced leadership training for high school 4-H youth from around the state (ages 13-19)
  • State 4-H Field Day -May 23, 2026
