The University of California 4-H Youth Development Program is administered by UC Cooperative Extension Offices and promotes hands-on, experiential learning for all youth ages 5-19. Youth members and adult volunteers from all backgrounds and locations are welcome.

Welcome to the Monterey County 4-H Program, we have approximately 400 youth enrolled in local 4-H programs and nearly 200 adult volunteers engaging youth in varied Hands -on learning experiences. There are thirteen clubs in the county, covering almost all geographic areas. Our mission is to engage youth in reaching their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development.
